Inspiration

The apps where you put in the notes and it makes a video about it interested us. We wanted to do something like that, but not entirely like that-- and our enjoyment of games was also something that inspired us to make this.

What it does

By putting in your note, either a PDF or a copy and paste document, it will take those notes and formulate questions related to it, allowing you to turn those questions into games, or simply study the flashcards.

How we built it

We built it by using Figma Design-- utilizing a portion of the AI in order to create a more accessible design from the initial draft. The backend was developed using JavaScript code to create a server.

Challenges we ran into

Our initial idea didn't quite work, so we had to change ideas midway through-- and it was a challenge starting over, but it ended up being better than ever.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the design and layout of it-- it was inspired by Habitica-- an app I've personally used, and we are happy we make something similar to it

What we learned

I hadn't used Figma extensively, so I learned how to utilize it, as well as how to integrate it with VS Code and GitHub, and work on both front-end and back-end projects.

What's next for StudyQuest

We would love to have more time to fix it up and make it a truly usable product.
