Students often struggle to study lengthy PDFs, presentations, and notes efficiently. We built StudyPilot to make learning smarter, faster, and more interactive using AI.
What it does
StudyPilot transforms study materials into quizzes, multiple-choice questions, flashcards, summaries, and explanations. It helps students test their knowledge, track progress, and identify weak topics.
How we built it
We combined a user-friendly web interface with document text extraction, AI-powered question generation, and quiz evaluation to create a personalized study experience.
Challenges we ran into
Extracting accurate information from complex PDFs and PowerPoint files was challenging. We also focused on generating relevant questions, validating answers, and maintaining consistent formatting.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a platform that brings document analysis, quiz generation, flashcards, and learning progress into one place, making study sessions more engaging and organized.
What we learned
We learned the importance of reliable document parsing, context-aware AI generation, answer validation, and designing interfaces that make learning simple and accessible.
What's next for StudyPilot
We plan to improve OCR and document understanding, enhance question accuracy, introduce adaptive quizzes, support collaborative learning, and provide more personalized study recommendations.
