Inspiration

StudyPath was inspired by the difficulties students face when trying to plan their education abroad. I wanted to create a platform that simplifies finding universities, scholarships, and courses, helping students make informed decisions about their academic journey.

What it does

StudyPath allows users to explore study-abroad options, compare universities and programs, and see potential scholarships. In the future, it will also offer consulting services, SAT and IELTS courses to provide a complete educational planning solution.

How we built it

I created the initial demo by building the core structure and main features of the platform. The project is web-based and focuses on providing an easy-to-use interface for students to explore their options.

Challenges we ran into

Since this was the initial version, I couldn’t make the platform fully comprehensive yet. Adding advanced features and unique tools requires investment and resources, which is something I plan to address soon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I successfully launched the basic demo, which demonstrates the platform’s potential and usability. It serves as a foundation to expand with consulting, SAT, and IELTS services.

What we learned

Through this project, I gained valuable experience in web development, project planning, and understanding user needs. I also learned how to structure a scalable platform that can grow over time.

What's next for StudyPath

Next, I plan to enhance StudyPath by adding consulting services, SAT and IELTS courses, and more personalized guidance for students. The goal is to make StudyPath a comprehensive, one-stop platform for students planning their international education.

Since the initial phase in early February, StudyPath has evolved from a vision into a structured educational tool. Here is a log of recent developments: New Features: University & Programs Database: Officially launched the integrated modules for global university searches. This allows students to filter by country and academic discipline. UI/UX Overhaul: Migrated the interface to a fully responsive design using Tailwind CSS, ensuring students can access roadmaps from any device. Roadmap Logic: Developed the initial logic for "Academic Roadmaps," which provides a step-by-step guide for students aiming for international degrees. Technical Progress: We’ve been optimizing our data fetching for faster loading times and have prepared the groundwork for Amazon Nova AI integration. Here is a snippet of our roadmap structure: { "program": "Computer Science", "path": "Undergraduate", "steps": [ "IELTS/TOEFL Preparation", "University Selection", "Portfolio Development", "Application Submission" ] } What's Next? I am currently working on a personalized AI Recommendation Engine that will use student profiles to suggest the most suitable programs. The goal is to make education accessible to everyone, everywhere!
