When my friends and I first participated in TrojanHacks as first Hackathon, we wanted to create something simple that can used in our school. Then, we thought how difficulty to study in groups rather than by yourself. So we thought of making a web application that allows students to search and create study groups. This will not only help students to study for their tests but create social groups inside the school.
On the website, the user can create a new study session with subject, topic, building/room number, ending time, and description. Once a user create a new study session, other students can see the created study sessions or create a new study session.
The hard part of making this web application was that I had to learn new languages, such as HTML, CSS, and javascript. I did spend long time learning the syntax of these languages. Making the website nice was also another difficult part.
The future plan for this web application is that we want to make a chat box so people can talk to each other for better communication. The website should also be designed to look more beautiful.
