Inspiration

Students often struggle to organise their syllabus, plan revision, and track progress across different subjects. I wanted to create a simple study companion that helps students manage their learning in one place.

What it does

StudyMate AI is designed to help students organise subjects and topics, prepare revision plans, practise quiz questions, and track completed study tasks. I also plan to include an AI study assistant that explains difficult topics in simple language.

How we built it

I am developing this project independently as a student. The planned approach is to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a responsive web application. I will build the features step by step and test them before presenting the final version.

Challenges we ran into

As a beginner working independently, my main challenges are learning web development tools, designing an easy-to-use interface, and implementing features reliably. I am addressing these challenges by working on one feature at a time and testing the results.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud to take the first step toward turning a real student problem into a technology project. This project gives me an opportunity to learn practical development skills and create something that could help other students. I will update this section with the features successfully completed and tested.

What we learned

This project is helping me explore web development, user-focused design, application testing, and the potential of AI tools in education. My goal is to turn the initial idea into a useful, working prototype
