Students often have difficulty organizing large syllabi and study materials into a clear study plan. We wanted to create a simple AI-powered tool that helps students study more efficiently.
What it does
StudyMate AI helps students turn their syllabus and study material into an organized study plan. It can generate practice questions and provide a simple way to track study progress.
How we built it
We are building StudyMate AI as a web application with an AI component that processes study material and generates personalized recommendations.
Challenges
As beginners, one of our main challenges was designing a useful AI workflow while keeping the application simple and easy to use. We also focused on making the generated study plans practical rather than overwhelming.
What we learned
Through this project, we are learning how to build an AI-powered application, connect different software components, work with user-provided documents, and turn an idea into a functional prototype.
Future improvements
In the future, we would like to add better personalization, progress analytics, reminders, and support for multiple subjects and learning styles.
