Inspiration
Students often struggle to understand difficult topics, prepare revision notes, and manage their exam time. I wanted to create a simple study companion that brings these tools together in one mobile-friendly experience.
What it does
StudyMate AI is an Alexa+-inspired study assistant prototype with three main features:
- Ask StudyMate: Explore study questions and sample answers.
- Simple Notes: View simplified revision notes.
- Study Planner: Organize study time and exam preparation.
How I built it
I developed the project using Replit and uploaded the source code to GitHub. I designed a mobile-friendly interface focused on simplicity and ease of use.
Challenges I faced
Building the project on a mobile phone was challenging. Connecting GitHub, managing project files, and preparing the prototype required careful troubleshooting.
What I learned
I learned about project development, GitHub version control, mobile-friendly design, and preparing a software project for a hackathon.
Future scope
Future improvements could include live AI-generated answers, personalized quizzes, saved study plans, and voice-based interactions.
