I’m sure this a scenario many scholars like me go through all the time. You get assignments, you don’t know where to start and start surfing the web relentlessly until you find something to guide you.

Well, the above method sure does work for many of us, but with one major problem.

What it does

StudyHub provides a platform with the following key features:

  1. Track assignment details such as due dates, task details and priority levels.
  2. Auto-generation of step by step instructions of executing the task.
  3. Provide websites and Youtube links that would be relevant to your task.
  4. Personalized spaces to store links and references of your own research material.

How we built it

We used Coda’s powerful AI model to receive task details and generate steps to be taken to achieve them.

Challenges we ran into

Engineering the prompts to generate desired results tied us in knots at first but we did it through trial and error.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of creating a platform where students can complete their tasks in significantly less time. We already started using the platform and we are seeing good results even among our peers.

What we learned

We learnt a lot about prompt engineering and all the tools in Coda that can help in so many use cases.

What's next for StudyHub

I could see the smiles on the faces of my peers as they watched the tables automatically fill up and the record-breaking time it took them to complete their tasks. I would love for this template to be the people's first experience using Coda AI and that it would impact the learning of many students in a similar, if not greater way. Hey, it’s Coda. It’s not only for students; anyone can customize it to their own needs. That’s the beauty of it.
