Inspiration

Many a time, while studying, a student opens YouTube to take a break and ends up staying there for a whole hour. We all get distracted, and we are guilty of it too. This is why we are building StudyHolic - a chrome extension that eliminates distractions and makes you more productive.

What it does

This extension blocks and limits some sites, like social media and YouTube, along with other handy features like a to-do list, focuses on an end goal of building strong levels of self discipline in our user.

How we built it

This is a Chrome Extension built mainly using HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Challenges we ran into

We were new to this technology and ran into multiple bugs along the way that we spent hours fixing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learnt a new framework that many of us were new to.

What we learned

More than Learning a new technology, we learnt the value of teamwork, cooperation and persistence.

What's next for StudyHolic

This is just V1 of our product and we plan on improving it, we hope this benefits many student and we are going to use it too.
