Inspiration

Students need a way to not only find a physical space to study but also a digital space to connect, motivate each other, and find new and interesting ways to learn.

What it does

To solve these problems, we built StudyGo with a few key features in mind. Our goal was to create a platform that is not only functional but also engaging and fun for students to use. First, our app features an Interactive Map. This is where students can easily discover all the available study spots around them, whether it's a quiet cafe, a library, or a co-working space. They can see what's nearby and choose the perfect environment for their study session. Next, we have a Check-in and Points system. When a student checks into a study spot, they earn points. This gamifies the process of finding and using study locations, encouraging them to get out and be productive. To keep them motivated, we also have Streaks. The more consecutive days a student checks in, the longer their streak grows. This simple feature helps build a consistent study habit. But productivity shouldn't be a solitary activity. Our Friends & Chat feature allows students to connect with their peers. They can see where their friends are studying, share recommendations, and even form virtual study groups. This is how we enhance that digital connectivity we mentioned earlier. And finally, to reward their hard work, we have a Reward Store. Students can redeem the points they've earned from checking in for exclusive rewards, like discounts at their favorite cafes or other fun incentives. Each of these features works together to create a holistic experience that not only helps students find a place to study but also motivates them, connects them with their community, and rewards them for their efforts.
