Inspiration
We wanted students to be able to track their hours studied through a google chrome extension.
What it does
The user begins a timer that tracks time spend studying. The user is rewarded with pleasing visual queues as more and more time is spend studying.
How we built it
We used HTML and CSS for the formatting and visual effects and used JavaScript to deal with the inner workings of the extension.
Challenges we ran into
Some of us didn't have much experience for JavaScript. Everything seen in the project was figured out on the fly and taught to ourselves.

How to work as a team, how to persevere, and how to survive on very little sleep.
What's next for StudyFish
There are tons of ways to upgrade this app in the future. For example, a way to designate which class you are studying for and a summary (in the form of a pi chart) that shows how much time was spend studying for each class.
