Inspiration
Our inspiration was that many kids our having trouble getting back into the environment of in person school and so we wanted to create an app that helps students study if they are falling behind.
What it does
This app is a chat app that has different rooms that students can join to get help. We have a very nice gui and with this app you can create a user profile and you can delete post and you can post things on what you need help on. And you need to be loged in to post things and stuff like that.
How we built it
We built this app using many things like js, django, python, html, and many more lanquages.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran in to were hosting the site and having two servers communicate to each other. And we also ran into trouble trying to get the login form to work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The accomplishments that we are proud of is that we were able to create a full functional app in to days.
What we learned
We learned how to communicate over different platforms like zoom and discord. We also leanred a lot about teamwork and how teamwork is important.
What's next for StudyBudy
We are going to integrate zoom into the platform.
