To help people read easier and faster

What it does

• Change the Fonts of the webpage
• Change the colour of the webpage to greyscale
• Focus mode that extracts only the text of the webpage onto a new tab
• AI summarizer that gives a summary of the whole webpage
• AI auto search function that searches any highlighted word or sentences.

How we built it

We built it using Javascript and css.

Challenges we ran into

Time was a major issue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Finishing the project in 24hrs
• Learning how to work with chrome extensions

What we learned

• Working with a Chrome extension
• Working with OpenAI and other artificial intelligence APIs

What's next for StudyBuddy by x-ab-y

• It's not a perfect app, open to suggestions and bug fixes over time.
• Maybe transform this idea into a mobile app to help accessibility on the go!
