Inspiration
I felt as though my campus never had a more direct way of reaching other students for study groups based off of what was provided so I thought an Idea such as StudyBuddy would help. The Ai gemini goes off of intent rather than keywords.
What it does
StudyBuddy AI is a smart campus networking tool built for HackDay in partnership with Major League Hacking (MLH). It uses Google Gemini AI to semantically match students with study partners — and flags suspicious or malicious profiles in real time.
How we built it
It was built by using railway to create the HTTPS and Google Gemini to create the API key as well as the template for the front end development
Challenges we ran into
the biggest challenge was making sure all the codes and websites used connected perfectly as one small mix up could crash the whole website
