StudyBuddy

I created a study buddy that quizzes you because sometimes I don’t feel like flipping through flashcards or reading the textbook over and over. It’s way easier when someone just asks me the questions so I can see what I actually know and what I don't exactly understand yet. My study buddy doesn’t get tired or annoyed, and it can quiz me on anything like English, math problems, or science information. This study buddy makes test prep way less boring and helps me learn more facts. The purpose of my study buddy and what it does is it help you prepare in a subject you struggle or if you just want to practice, while also averaging up your grade. Another additional benefit is that it also helps you practice healthy habits. A few challenges we ran into was creating the UI and integrating the UI with backend code. another challenge we ran into was debugging the code and making sure every aspect was working perfectly. we were also unable to finish all the features due to the time limit. My partner and I both split up the work to create this study buddy. I used replit to write the backend code and my partner used Flask and PyWebIO to create the UI. After we both finished writing our code we integragated the code by using PyCharm. A few accomplishments that we are proud of are how well our project works and how it looks like a professional website. We learned how to write code using Flask to define routes and we used Replit to create the backend code and we integrated all together using Pycharm. In the future we will add more features like quizzes, habits and reminders.
