Inspiration
As we delved into the statistics on education in Africa, we were struck by the stark reality: despite being a continent rich in natural resources, many African countries struggle to provide quality education to their citizens. According to the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, 40% of African children do not complete primary school, and only 1 in 5 have access to secondary education. These numbers are particularly concerning, given that education is a key driver of economic growth and development.

How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Building StudyBloom was not without its challenges. One of the challenges we faced was addressing the issue of unequal access to technology and internet connectivity. Many schools in rural areas lacked the necessary infrastructure to access our platform. To address this issue, we partnered with local organizations that specialize in providing digital literacy training and device distribution to underserved communities.
