Inspiration: We were inspired to create this program because, in 2020, many students like ourselves were falling behind in school, and lost track of time due to lockdown and virtual school.

What it does: The program asks the user to sign up for an account and link their school email with our program. From there, the program will display the student's schedule.

How we built it: Our group built the program using Python, which was the simple part. Then one of our group members built the website using HTML, then we ran into a major challenge.

Challenges we ran into: First, our group had to figure out how to open and import a pdf file, which displays the schedule, and one of our members figured out a solution by using pdf_plumber, without expiernce. The next challenge our group came across was combining Python and HTML code into one website. The Python code held the input and pdf file, while the HTML code contained the website foundation and function. This issue could not be solved in 24 hours because our group was inexperienced with data science and flask python.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Our group is proud of completing our first hackathon and how to open and interpret a pdf file.

What we learned: Our group learned how to open and import a pdf file, the basics of flask python, and how to use excel and create a python website(which couldn't be done due to the 24-hour constraint.

What's next for Study Tracker: Our group plans to complete the program, make the website fully functional, and further update the website to its furthest potential.
