Inspiration

We were inspired by the struggles students face with time management, procrastination, and stress. Studies show that nearly 86% of college students struggle to organize their schedules, and 75% procrastinate regularly. We wanted to turn studying into a fun, motivating experience, combining smart scheduling with gamification to help students stay consistent and enjoy learning.

What it does

StudyQuest is an automated study planner that:

Creates a personalized schedule based on classes, exams, and priorities. Curates daily missions, significantly reducing time spent on making your to-do list. Helps students track progress, stay motivated, and build healthy study habits. Makes studying intuitive and less intimidating by preparing everything you need to study.

How we built it

We designed StudyQuest using a student-centered approach: Built the core scheduling system to prioritize tasks intelligently. Focused on simplicity and personalization to make it intuitive for students to use. Created a clean, playful interface inspired by soft-girl and Gen Z aesthetics.

Challenges we ran into:

  • Designing an algorithm that balanced multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines without overwhelming the user.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

  • Successfully created a working prototype of an intelligent study planner.
  • Designed a personalized scheduling system that adapts to users’ classes, exams, and priorities.
  • Created a motivating and visually appealing interface that turns study tasks into fun missions.
  • Brought together teamwork, coding, and design in a short hackathon timeframe.

What's next for StudyQuest

Add mobile app support for on-the-go planning. Add gamification features like leaderboards, challenges, and community missions. Introduce analytics and progress tracking to give deeper insights into study habits. Gather student feedback to improve personalization and usability. Explore integration with calendars and school platforms for seamless task management.
