Inspiration
We've been struggling with motivation and organization during exam periods, especially midterms and finals. The stress piles up, and it becomes difficult to know where to start. As a result, we often procrastinate, which only increases our stress. To break this cycle, we decided to create a tool that helps students stay organized with minimal effort, so they can focus on studying and reduce the impact of procrastination during these challenging times.
What it does
The basic function of this project is simple. The user uploads their course notes and selects specific areas of a subject they want to study. They then rate how confident they feel in each area on a scale from 1 to 10. This information is sent to an AI API that generates questions based on the user's needs. These questions are asked during a Pomodoro session, allowing the user to study for long periods without feeling overwhelmed, thanks to short breaks. The length of each study period is customizable, so the user can work for 30 minutes or hours, depending on their needs.
