Study Mate

Inspiration

I wanted to build a website that will filter users according to certain criteria and match students so they can chat and get together for study sessions.

One of the core issues in such apps is verification of users, so I am using Botdoc which allows me to request documents from the users in a fast and secure way.

What it does

• Chat with users
• Create a flashcard room
• Verifies users before they can start using the application
• PWA , natively run application on ios/android/desktop !

How we built it

Flutter , Firebase , Node.js and Botdoc API were used for this project.

Challenges we ran into

Botdoc API is fairly new to me but the documentation and quick start helped quite a lot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Build a working application under 24 hours

What's next for Study Mate

• Add more criteria to filter students
• Add profile page
• Order chat rooms according to last updated
