Inspiration

The Study Group Finder app was inspired by the practical need for a real-life solution to connect students with similar study interests.

What it does

The app, built using Flutter, facilitates the formation of study groups by displaying study locations. Firebase serves as the database, ensuring real-time data management.

How we built it

We used Flutter for the front end. The back-end functionality was implemented using Firebase as the database, ensuring real-time data updates.

Challenges we ran into

Overcoming challenges like integrating Flutter with Firebase, FlutterMap, and Programming with a new/unfamiliar language, Debugging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully implementing a working, responsive Flutter UI, integrating Firebase for data storage and retrieval, and creating a functional prototype within a small timeframe were notable accomplishments.

What we learned

The project provided valuable insights into Flutter development, Firebase integration, and the unique challenges of building a mobile app within a hackathon setting.

What's next for Study Group

Future plans involve refining the Flutter app based on user feedback, addressing any limitations in Firebase integration, and exploring additional features for an enhanced study group experience.
