Inspiration

During the COVID pandemic, we noticed that people are finding time to discover new activities and hobbies. However, we haven't found a resource that made that mutual learning during the pandemic easily available.

What it does

Study Group is an app designed to facilitate user-generated workshops and study groups for others. If someone has an interesting skill to share, they can host a workshop to invite other people on the Internet to learn with them. Likewise, every person on the platform is themselves a learner, and are able to attend workshops to learn new skills.

How I built it

We used a database to store workshops and user information, routed said information into a front-end designed to allow users to both create new classes and sign up for workshops on their own.
