We designed a digital “study corner” that reimagines how students interact with productivity tools by bringing everything into a single, cohesive, and emotionally engaging space. Instead of switching between multiple apps for planning, focus, and task management, our platform creates a unified virtual desk where users can visualize and manage their workflow in one place. The experience is inspired by the familiarity of a physical study setup which included a desk, planner, sticky notes, and ambient elements translated into an interactive digital environment. We intentionally used hand-drawn visuals and playful elements to reduce the rigidity often associated with productivity tools, making the experience feel more personal, calming, and motivating. Our design process focused on identifying friction in students’ daily workflows (context switching, lack of engagement, tool fatigue) and addressing it through spatial design, visual storytelling, and simplicity. The result is a functional yet delightful environment that encourages consistent productivity.
