Study Budy

Inspiration

As a student myself, I often times struggled to find the correct materials online to study with for exams. I needed to make something that would make studying easier and more effective

What it does

Study Budy takes in a pdf file from the user that could be notes from class, study guide for an exam or anything else. It takes the file and uses it to generate a 10 question quiz so the student can study better.

How we built it

I used nextjs, typescript, prisma orm, neon database, open ai api

Challenges we ran into

I only had around 24 hours to make this because I joined this hackathon late. While working on the project, uploading and transferring files was the main part that stumped me.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am very proud that I was able to build a working model in the span of 1 day.

What we learned

I learned to just keep going and to not second guess myself, because at time I wanted to give.

What's next for Study Budy

Study budy will allow users to access quizzes they have already created, there will be a dashboard that shows the users progress and a section to create flashcards to study from. The user will be able to choose how many questions each quiz should have a how hard it should be
