Inspiration

The Inspiration of Study BuddyAI came by my own academic journey and the pressure I have always feeled during my exam week.I wanna help the students of Bharat to relieve their exams stress and enjoy studying without any academic pressure.

What it does

StudyBuddy AI creates personalized study plans based on exams, subjects, and available time, while offering supportive guidance to reduce stress. It helps students study efficiently, stay motivated, and manage academic pressure.

How we built it

We built StudyBuddyAI to help students solve doubts instantly, generate personalized timetables, and track their study progress in one platform. We created a clean UI, integrated an AI-powered backend for smart answers and planning, and deployed it live with a custom domain so it’s accessible from anywhere during the hackathon.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenges we faced were fixing API integration issues, handling correct answer formatting, improving response accuracy for different subjects, and deploying the project smoothly without crashes. We also worked on optimizing the UI performance and making sure the app works properly on different devices and networks.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that we successfully built a complete working prototype of StudyBuddyAI with a clean UI, AI-based doubt solving, timetable generation, and progress tracking features. We also managed to deploy it live with a custom domain, making it accessible anywhere, and improved the overall user experience within a short hackathon time.

What we learned

We learned how to plan and build a full project fast, integrate AI APIs properly, handle real deployment issues, and improve performance and UI for a better user experience. We also learned teamwork, debugging under pressure, and how to make an idea into a working product within hackathon deadlines.

What's next for Study BuddyAI

In the full version of Study BuddyAI, we plan to add: Real AI doubt solving (free text questions, not limited to question bank) PDF notes summarization + quick revision mode Smart timetable based on exam dates and available study hours Multi-language support (Hindi + English) for Bharat students Progress tracking + reminders for consistency More graph types and science visualizations save students’ timetables and progress history, improve AI accuracy with better subject-wise question banks, and add features like reminders, notes, and exam-based preparation modes. We also want to optimize it for mobile and make it fully scalable for real student use.
