Study Buddy Finder

Inspiration

If you go on to unimelb love letters or unimelb subreddit, what you will see are people calling out to find friends to study with. This was the main inspiration of this project.

What it does

Well, what Study Buddy Finder provides is a wider range of people to be able to reach out to. Whatever subject people are studying, their degree or uni, people will have easy access to finding multiple groups with individuals who not only study the same thing, but also who share the same interests as them such as music, sports and gaming etc.

How we built it

We began with a general MERN setup and had it connected to a MongoDB database. And all that was achieved in the frontend was the sign in page, and the sign up page.

Challenges we ran into

Due to time constraints, we were unable to fully implement what we wanted to achieve and so created a figma project outlining our ideas.
