Students often have doubts while learning technical subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Java. I wanted to build a simple study companion that gives quick, easy-to-understand answers without requiring a complicated setup.

What I built

Study Buddy AI is a rule-based AI chatbot designed for students. It recognizes common questions and provides simple explanations related to AI, ML, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Java.

How I built it

I built the project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. JavaScript handles the chatbot logic and generates responses based on keywords and questions entered by the user.

What I learned

Through this project, I learned how to create an interactive web application, work with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, implement rule-based chatbot logic, and manage a project using GitHub.

Challenges

One of the main challenges was designing the chatbot so that it could understand different ways students ask similar questions. I solved this using keyword-based matching and structured responses.

Future improvements

I would like to add more subjects, quiz mode, voice input, personalized study plans, progress tracking, and eventually connect the project to a real AI model.
