Inspiration

We, as UNC students, always encounter questions when we study. We worried that students would not find similar interests to study with. How do we make connections with students who have similar study habits and interests is a problem that caught our attention.

What it does

Study Buddy function is an easy/simple Python webpage on Streamlit that collects users' input of name, time, subject, mode, and contact for students who can post their information to make connections with other students with the same choice.

How we built it

We built using Python with Streamlit.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into problems with putting different pages together and implemented the Google login.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we used prior knowledge to implement these pages. Also, we are proud that we can learn new things while we encounter errors.

What we learned

We learned how to implement Google and username/password logins, and how to use Supabase.

What's next for Study Buddy UNC

We can implement a messaging feature so that users can chat with each other.
