Inspiration

Picture how many lives would be impacted if a solution was discovered for procrastination and unproductivity. That’s why we took this into our own hands, and created StudiCircle. Considering the fact that approximately 86% of high school students admit to delaying assignments, we understood the need for change. Imagine the significant percentage drop if a product that addressed these needs was created. That’s when we knew something had to be done.

What it does

Once logged in, students will be directed to the homepage where they will see an overall summary of their daily stats. Soon after, students can go to focus rooms, where they can see how many current active sessions are available and the number of students working. As an alternative, they can create their own focus room. Naming the title, putting a subject and setting their own pomodoro timer are all factors we’ve implemented. As a motivational community, students can make posts that reflect educational tips, goals, struggles, and wins. The task section in StudiCircle is helpful as an AI study tool to create your plan and lighten your load. The tasks you need to complete by the end of the day, the upcoming and completed ones are all shown on this page. To customize you can choose your theme and study pet in your dashboard settings. On top of that, your progress report, level, current and total xp, as well as your daily streak is shown. Having someone available to tutor you at all times is difficult, and that’s exactly why the AI Homework help is there. Ask it any question, and it will deeply explain so that you can grasp the answer. However, to get the best of your experience we’ve made it a gamified approach, helping students be intrigued in their work, focus, and bringing together an uplifting community.

How we built it

We built StudiCircle using Lovable, ChatGPT, React, and TypeScript.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge we ran into was trying to figure out how to make this more than just another to-do list. We overcame this by gamifying the task completion process, which gives students some incentive to complete their work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that although there were challenges on the way, we overcame them with persistence and learned many valuable skills from creating this web. Just the fact that this is opening doors for new apps for generations to come and making students’ lives easier is a big accomplishment that makes us wonder: What will the future bring?

What we learned

From this project, we learn that if we strive to do our best we will gain many valuable skills along the way. The more challenges that come, the more crucial skills we learn.

What's next for StudiCircle

StudiCircle is off to a great start; but we won’t stop there. Our next goal is to create an anti-bullying AI detector; ensuring the community is free from all cyber bullying and is surrounded by a positive atmosphere. Although we, the creators of StudiCircle, do understand the problems being faced globally, we hope to strengthen this product so it reaches around the world.
