Our aim was to create a project that would allow users to play Pacman outside using streets as the grid, it would use the open safety api to find local areas with few traffic accidents ensuring they were safe to play in. We analysed the data and picked out relevant categories and researched methods to integrate it with our application, unfortunately we ran out of time. We tested the pebble watch integration with our app so that notifications were sent to the watch with directions of opposing players. Our app allowed the players to pick the number in the game and their player ID. We sent this to a server that had a database of scores and users. We used java to code the app and PHP for the server. Our stretch goals would be to display it on the map and have a selectable area for the game rather than basing it on the immediate vicinity of the user.
