What it does
Our desktop app extracts, sorts and visualizes email data automatically, letting users view communication trends and key email information instantly.
How we built it
We created an offline PC desktop program with independent data parsing modules and a visual GUI for local email dataset analysis.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled with incompatible email file formats from different mail services and performance lag when processing large email archives. We also spent lots of time simplifying complex functions for student users.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built a fully offline, stable email analysis desktop tool with automatic data extraction and visualized statistical charts optimized for student devices.
What we learned
We learned desktop software development and large local data optimization. We also understood the importance of minimalist design for student-oriented productivity tools.
What's next for studentC
We plan to add sentiment analysis, report export functions, multi-mailbox compatibility, and student-specific analysis templates for coursework and campus communication.
