Inspiration

Students often face many issues in daily task planning, especially when multiple tasks need to be managed at the same time. Because of poor planning and lack of proper reminders, some important tasks are often missed or not completed on time.

What it does

The application allows users to manage their tasks efficiently by tracking whether a task is completed or still pending. If a task is not completed or if any mistake occurs while managing tasks, the system helps notify the user.Users can set a specific date and time for each task, and the application will trigger an alarm-style reminder. At the scheduled time, a notification is sent to remind the user about the task, ensuring that important work is not forgotten

How we built it

This project is very special to me because it is my first hackathon project. I built the entire application using only three languages, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript. There is no backend environment involved; however, I was able to design and implement a complete, functional project.

Challenges we ran into

One of the key challenges in this project was implementing the alarm and countdown functionality. The system calculates the remaining time from the selected date and time and triggers a reminder exactly when the countdown ends. This feature ensures users receive timely alerts and do not miss important tasks.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

done with entire project Successfully. It is simple but very helpful.

What we learned

I learned how to build the projects and what are the situations that we face while making.

What's next for Student Task Manager

In the future, this project can be enhanced by adding a backend and database to store tasks permanently. User authentication can be improved so that each student has their own account. Additional features like task completion status, priority levels, recurring reminders, and analytics for daily or weekly productivity can also be introduced. A mobile-friendly version or a dedicated app could make the platform more accessible for students.
