Inspiration Finding study space for groups and individuals on first 3 days of week in the evenings is very hard so we come up with this problem.
What it does
It gives the students the availability of particular floor,hall,segment.
How we built it
We took synthetic data randomly generated by us and implemented it on tableau after cleaning for dashboard view.
Challenges we ran into
As it need sensor system for collecting data but we generated random for prototype
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Now the students are able to find the required place availability whatever they want and it is visually represented.
What we learned
How to generate data,cleaning ,dealing with time series data and impleting dynamic dashboard on tableau.
What's next for Student study space finder +
If we add works flows in data bricks for this random data or connect the original data from data source is helpful which can be accomplished by real time sensor monitoring.In that case we can improve this project.Also adding genuine reviews about study spaces which will be helpul for both students and library or other higher officials to sort out problems .
