Inspiration

As students, we often struggle with managing assignments, exams, deadlines, and personal goals all at the same time. Many students use notebooks or random apps, but they still forget tasks or feel overwhelmed.

The idea for the Smart Student Study Planner came from observing how poor time management affects academic performance and stress levels. We wanted to build a simple, practical solution that helps students organize their work efficiently and stay consistent.

Our goal was to create a planner that doesn’t just store tasks — but actually helps students plan smartly and improve productivity.

How we built it

We designed and developed a modern web-based application with:

Frontend: HTML, CSS (Tailwind CSS), JavaScript

Framework: Next.js (App Router)

Backend: Node.js + Express

Database: MongoDB

Authentication: JWT-based login system
