Inspiration
My inspiration to make this design came from a problem I had last year in school. After online school, it was much harder to stay organized and I never used schedules or any software to help manage my time and struggled in school because of it, and the concept I came up with allowed me to make a prototype of an app I would consider using to help manage my time better.
What it does
The final app would take input of the user's age, gender, height, school timings, and amount of time spent daily on homework to create a schedule for the user Monday-Friday. The metrics taken in would be used to calculate the recommended calorie intake per day, amount of sleep required daily, the optimal time to do homework, and suggest a daily amount of exercise stay healthy. The app will also allow you to make comments/reminders to match each individual's needs when it comes to these categories.
How we built it
Since I am submitting my project as part of the low/no code track I used Figma to make a model/design of what the app would look like and is just a design. The design submitted is an example made with a fake person and includes an example of one day's schedule.
Challenges we ran into
A minor problem I had was coming up with an idea for a project but the main challenge I ran into while working on the project was learning how to use Figma in the first place and the rest was pretty straightforward.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I came up with an idea for a schedule that I actually would use and plan to actually design this app in the future.
What we learned
I learned how to use Figma and this was pretty useful because I can now use it for other designs and projects in the future and it is much more advanced and easier to use than other design tools.
What's next for Student Schedule
Hopefully in the future I am able to make my design/prototype into an actual app and not just a concept.
