Inspiration
We were inspired by the age-old stereotype that women love to gossip: while many see this is an inherently negative thing, “gossip” between women and LGBTQ+ people is often what helps them warn each other of dangerous situations, places, and people. Student Safe-TEA thus came about as a satirical reference to the seemingly flippant activity of “spilling tea”, but as a tool for awareness. With Student Safe-TEA, people can make informed choices with just the touch of a button.
