Inspiration
Students should be able to access at least one Library and read on their own even without the presence of any Teacher or Tutor. The use of Physical Libraries with limited sits or reading materials is now becoming rapidly in our society. This had really discouraged most of our Students (College Students) in creating the habit of using the Libraries of nowadays (Physical Libraries). The use of an Offline Electronic Library (Student's Library) is a great decision to address the problems attached to the widely use of Physical Library.
What it does
Student's Library gives the user a free access to reading materials on any selected Subjects as-well-as a short quiz thereafter.
How we built it
Student's Library is built using Java Programming Language and it GUI Frameworks (SWING, AWT) which provides a User friendly Graphical User Interface for the Users (Students)
Challenges we ran into
Knowing how, and where to collect several materials for each subject's topics across the three different department (Sciences, Art, Commercial).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are glad to come-up with a nice Prototype of our work.
What we learned
Knowledge on how to make a genuine research to detect what type of materials are needed for the project.
What's next for Student's Library
- Evaluation and distribution of a complete and full functioning software (Student's Library).
