Inspiration
The Student Grievance System was developed to address the need for a more efficient and transparent way for students to report and manage grievances. Traditional methods often lead to delays and frustration, and this project aims to simplify and streamline the process.
What I Learned UX Design: Focused on creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface. Form Handling: Gained experience in managing form submissions and validation. JavaScript: Improved skills in JavaScript, particularly with user-agent detection and parsing. Frontend Development: Enhanced understanding of HTML, CSS, and client-side scripting. How I Built the Project Planning: Defined core features such as grievance submission, tracking, and admin management. Frontend: Designed the HTML structure and applied CSS for styling. JavaScript: Implemented user-agent detection to gather browser and OS information. Testing: Ensured functionality and usability through extensive testing. Challenges User-Agent Parsing: Accurately interpreting different user-agent strings was complex. Form Validation: Balancing robust validation with user-friendliness. Responsiveness: Ensured the system works well on various devices and screen sizes
