Inspiration

Picture this: You're stepping into the vibrant realm of university life, where every day is a new adventure. But let's face it, this journey can be a rollercoaster of questions, doubts, and exhilarating discoveries. That's where "Student Connect" swoops in like your trusted sidekick, ready to guide you through the exhilarating twists and turns of academic life!

Our inspiration for 'Student Connect' draws from the success of Career Village.

What it does

We aim to provide a platform where students, especially newcomers to the university, can have their questions answered by senior and experienced peers. It's a valuable resource for those seeking insights and details about the university experience.

How we built it

It’s a dynamic JavaScript web app. Leveraging React, Redux, and MongoDB for seamless data storage, it's hosted on Node.js and Express, ensuring smooth performance with JWT-based authentication. Our aim is to create an engaging platform fostering student interaction and connection.

Challenges we ran into

Still trying to improve it even better. Implementing comments section, is quite challenging (which is still in progress)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the idea that emerged from our inspiration, and the fact that we were able to implement it to 80% completion.
