The idea for the Student Assistant Chatbot came from the common struggles students face: missing out on events, struggling to find internships, or feeling lost with Erasmus applications. We wanted to create a single, accessible platform to simplify these challenges—offering students personalized guidance and empowering them to make the most of their university experience.

The Student Assistant Chatbot helps students by: Recommending clubs and events based on their interests and location. Suggesting tailored internship opportunities with real-time updates. Guiding users through Erasmus and study-abroad programs with step-by-step instructions and FAQs. Answering general university-related queries, all through an intuitive, conversational interface.

We used Hexabot’s Low-Code Platform to design conversation flows, integrated custom plugins and APIs for real-time data, and embedded the chatbot into a responsive website. NLU powers its ability to interpret user intents and provide tailored responses.
