Rubber Duck Debugging
Inspiration
Our project was inspired by the green rubber duck in the swag bag. It reminded us of the great insight that can come from explaining your bug to a friend... or even just to a piece of plastic.
What it does
The duck helps the user to debug their code by guiding them through three important steps: reproducing the error, hypothesising probable causes and testing them. And if all else fails, taking a break and coming back to it later!
Challenges we ran into
We had to do some digging to find a royalties-free duck, but we're proud of the duck we've adopted.
What's next for Stuck? Ask a duck!
We would like to make the duck more talkative and interactive, with more specific guidance on how to efficiently debug code.
