Inspiration
Solving problems in course-module relationships. To develop a plug-and-play solution for any institution to adapt to and use.
What it does
It manages students, courses, modules, and assessments in a department.
How we built it
The system was developed with ASP.Net MVC framework. A file storage system in JSON format was used as the data storage.
Challenges we ran into
Managing the storage which at first was an idea but no implementation. But eventually, it was achieved. All data on the system is stored in JSON format and in a JSON file.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Use of JSON file storage to store data. And also able to read from the same file without causing any unnecessary overhead.
What we learned
An idea can be put to work if you keep working on it and within a given scope. Overtime, the scope can be expanded to allow more features added to it
What's next for Stucator
Expanding the scope and tackling interdepartmental student, course, module, and assessment management.
