Inspiration
JoburgFire happened about a month ago. I watched the fireman fell from 23rd floor. We didn't have a fire truck with a ladder. We didn't have a net at the bottom. A man put his life at risk and we failed to equip him. We failed to deliver. This Values-Driven Service Delivery challenge resonated with us so we built a sort-of project management solution for tracking the promises that our government officials make to us in exchange for our votes.
What it does
We're built a performance management tool for the public sector. A tool to measure promises made and to enforce delivery. After a government leader has successfully won an election with the promises they made, a civil organization (representing a ward/region/province) would log-on to our system and, together with the government leader's office, would document these promises as a contract - a social agreement. Milestones and dates would be agreed to Then the system would actively make sure that regular meetings are being had to track milestones, milestones are being updated as failed or achieved.
