About the Project
StrudelMix was created for the One Shot Challenge as an experiment in building a collaborative music sequencer in a single prompt. I wanted to see how far I could push rapid prototyping using Bolt, and the idea of making real-time music with others felt like a fun technical challenge.
What I Learned
This project gave me a chance to explore the basics of real-time collaboration and web audio. I learned how to quickly connect users in the browser and sync musical changes live, all while keeping the interface simple.
How I Built It
StrudelMix was built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the app deployed on Netlify. The collaborative and audio features were assembled in one go using Bolt’s AI-powered development tools.
Challenges Faced
The biggest challenge was making sure the single-prompt approach actually produced a working, collaborative music sequencer. I had to carefully plan the prompt and adjust as I went to ensure the main features worked as intended.
Overall, StrudelMix is a quick, one-shot experiment in collaborative music making.
