SLictionary was originally inspired by John Walker's "Animal" which was encountered in 1979 on an Apple IIe. Not only was it the first real computer virus, but we believe it was the first great artificial intelligence as it coaxed the user to improve the algorithm. SLictionary uses this same principle, to coax both users and Word$miths, who write our definitions, to improve SLictionary with each and every interaction: Searching, Voting & Profit-Motive are our HUMAN AI inputs.
