Inspiration

We were inspired by the student justice alliance and we wanted to support the people that are affected by economic injustice.

What it does

Strive is a mobile app designed to combat economic injustice by connecting users with essential resources. It features five key sections: Food, Clothing, Jobs, Housing, and Courses. Users can locate free or affordable food and clothing, find nearby shelters or low-cost housing, and access job listings tailored to their skills and location. The app also offers step-by-step courses on life skills like budgeting and goal setting. Everything is accessible remotely, eliminating barriers like transportation, complex paperwork, and strict eligibility. Strive empowers individuals to take control of their future by providing practical tools to overcome poverty and build long-term stability.

How we built it

We built it using XCode and swift.

Some challenges we ran into was finding a unique solution different from other current solutions. Another one was actually creating the app.
