Inspiration

Me: Hey! Can you add the new latest coupon code for the products on Stripe?
Employee: I will be needing the credentials for that.
Me: Maybe I will help myself then.

An everyday problem that many e-commerce managers and online sellers face with managing their stripe accounts. Since coda does not only help us in managing our time and so many kinds of stuff, why should products be left behind??

What it does

It can do all the basic things that are to be managed on an everyday basis.

  1. Want to manage your products (Add New Products / List Products / Get the Details)
  2. Did someone say coupons? Yes!!! (Create a Coupon / Delete a coupon / See the details )
  3. Marketing team: What about us? Don't you need Promotions Codes? Thanks ❤️ ( Create / Delete / List)
  4. Taxes (Create a tax / Delete)
  5. Something exciting coming up👀

How we built it

Stripe APIs were our go-to building blocks. We used most of the public APIs of Stripe to our advantage and brought this pack to life. Not to forget amazingly documented coda docs, which held our hands throughout.

Challenges we ran into

Many. Our main aim while participating in this packathon was to try out something new and make something useful, And we really enjoyed it. Even though handling API was much easier thanks to the documentation but the real task was to get user input and deal with every possible error the user can face while making an API request.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I would say our entire Pack would be our accomplishment, Because of the team members who showed their best interest in bringing up this pack after so many doubts, errors, and those red error lines.

What we learned

We learned a lot many interesting things while working on this pack starting from the Stripe authentication, parameters, and playing with the Image reference to handling many edge cases while working on the API which was really a task.

What's next for Stripe

We are not going to stop till here, we are working on bringing new features to this pack and making the current things much simpler. Bringing Transactions to the pack is next on our list!

PORT: coda (Request: simplify transaction Response: STRIPE PACK!)
