Inspiration
Many infrastructure issues don't get fixed for a long time simply because they go unnoticed by those who can make change, or there is not an easy way for citizens to report them.
What it does
Urban Innovation - A platform for dutiful citizens to report local infrastructure issues to improve their city. Other people's reports can be liked and disliked to raise awareness to city officials that can fix the issues.
How we built it
A web app in Node.js/Express as well as a mobile app with React Native.
Challenges we ran into
Time crunch and steep learning curve for web technologies, as they all depend on each other and vary in their usages.
