During the spring semester of my Freshman year, I chose to take Honors English with service learning to give back to the community. My service has been advocating to help solve homelessness by working with the non-profit organization, “Streetknits”, a humanitarian knitting charity, by updating the current website to be more engaging to reach a broader audience. I created a city theme with background colors based on the logo to make the website more engaging. At first, I had all the elements as an image, but then found out I would need to change the elements that had text to a text element. I also had trouble making the table corners rounded without making it thinner, so I made only some sides rounded instead of the whole table, and it worked. I am still having trouble correcting the Facebook plugin because on different screen sizes it doesn't display the full Facebook page.
