Inspiration
We wanted to clean the streets of trash while teaching kids how to code and use sequential coding in life.
What it does
Teaches ppl how to code by picking up trash. Students can type in commands and the robot will be able to complete them and pick up trash.
How we built it
3d printing/design, hot/super glue, circuitry, websites and servers, etc.
Challenges we ran into
Code not working, things breaking, hot glue falling apart, upload speed becoming too slow, form factor.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making code work, getting the robot to follow the web commands and move, having all the components work together and having the 3d printed pieces fit.
What we learned
How to sync video, how to use motors and servos, how to use github, how to troubleshoot components not working.
What's next for Street Sweeper
Make it stronger and more stable, add better web features and more movement for the robot.
